The EzRaid™Dual Swap+ unit allows you to quickly and easily set up a RAID 1 disk mirroring system on your computer using Serial ATA (SATA) drives. (For dual-swap IDE devices, see the RAIDcase or EzRAID under IDE Devices in the blue navigation panel.)

Whatever you save to one drive is concurrently sent to the second so you always have an up to the minute copy of your hard drive. If one drive fails, the other takes over automatically and keeps you up and running.

Installing the EzRAID Dual Swap+ is a simple matter of slipping it into any 5.25" double drive bay and connecting the cables to your motherboard. Insert your drives into the removable drive caddies, lock the caddies in place with the provided keys, push a button and you're ready to go. No need for special drivers, no interrupt or software conflicts! If a drive fails, you can replace (hot swap) it while the system is running. The Dual Swap+ will rebuild the mirror (copy all the data to the new drive) in background. No need to bring the system down. No down time!

The EzRAID Dual Swap+ can be set up and operated entirely through the easy to use front panel LCD. Because RAID 1 mirroring can be accomplished entirely through hardware, the Dual Swap+ is an ideal solution for UNIX, LINUX or Solaris, as well as Windows, installations. The Dual Swap+ is firmware flash upgradeable and RoHS complian. A Windows management utility is provided for those who wish to use it.
