The NoSlot is perfect for adding IDE RAID 1 disk mirroring to custom designed PC systems where the lack of a free bus slot or external drive bay--or extreme space restrictions--would normally make it impossible to add hardware RAID 1functionality. The uniquely simple design of the NoSlot allows it to mount directly to the computer chassis. Alternatively, the NoSlot may also be mounted in any standard hard drive mounting bracket and installed in a free internal drive bay.
