The EzRAID drive mirroring enclosure is the easiest way you'll find to set up a RAID 1 backup system for your IDE drives. The EzRAID performs RAID 1 drive mirroring entirely in hardware and operates with the simple turn of a key. Just plug

All of the RAID functions can be performed from
the unit’s buttons and front panel
LCD. Optional software utilities are
included for the Linux and Windows operating systems.
The two removable drive caddies allow you to hot-swap IDE drives. In the event of a drive failure, there's no need to shut down the computer. Just swap out the bad drive for a new one and the EzRAID will automatically rebuild the mirror in the background.
