Featuring our easy to use DupliDisk3 (DD3) RAID 1 mirror technology, the Bay Mount fits perfectly into
any standard 3.5" external drive bay. It's the ideal
solution to mirror your IDE drives where no PCI slots are available. (See our 5.25" Bay Mount if you have no free 3.5" bays.)
Just slide the Bay Mount into place, connect
your IDE (Parallel ATA) drives with the provided cables and run our quick and easy mirroring utility. When you're done, you'll have real time backup! Every time you save data to your drive, the Bay Mount will automatically send the information to both drives, so you always have an exact (and bootable, where applicable) duplicate of your drive and all the information it contains. If one of the drives fails, an alarm will sound to let you know a drive needs to be replaced but the other drive will take over automatically. And your computer and your business will stay up and running!
The Bay Mount unit requires no driver or IRQ. It sends data to both drives simultaneously so there's no lag time and no performance hit on your computer.
