If the Primary and Mirror LEDs on the Duplidisk show GREEN, indicating that there is power to the Duplidisk and drives yet the installation does not progress properly or there is a problem on boot up, there is a good possibility the One or more drives are not jumpered or connected correctly.

Corrective Action:

In our November 19, 1998 advisory, as well as in our Duplidisk product manuals, we have advised users that they need to remove all jumpers on Western Digital drives in order to force the drives to default to SINGLE mode, the state Western Digital drives require when mirroring a single pair of drives. This is not the case with the most recent 10-pin drives from Western Digital. To correctly jumper the new Western Digital drives, please refer to the following jumper setting table.
